Each Thursday I am going to be doing "To Be Read Thursday", i will post about a book i want to read, or a book i own that i have yet to read(:

City of Bones By: Cassandra Clare

Description:
When fifteen-year-old Clary Fray heads out to the Pandemonium Club in New York City, she hardly expects to witness a murder - much less a murder committed by three teenagers covered with strange tattoos and brandishing bizarre weapons. Then the body disappears into thin air. It's hard to call the police when the murderers are invisible to everyone else and when there is nothing - not even a smear of blood - to show that a boy has died. Or was he a boy?

This is Clary's first meeting with the Shadowhunters, warriors dedicated to ridding the earth of demons. It's also her first encounter with Jace, a Shadowhunter who looks a little like an angel and acts a lot like a jerk. Within twenty-four hours Clary is pulled into Jace's world with a vengeance, when her mother disappears and Clary herself is attacked by a demon. But why would demons be interested in ordinary mundanes like Clary and her mother? And how did Clary suddenly get the Sight? The Shadowhunters would like to know....

Exotic and gritty, exhilarating and utterly gripping, Cassandra Clare's ferociously entertaining fantasy takes readers on a wild ride that they will never want to end

Why? Thoughts, Notes:  I know, I know your all thinking "WTH(heck) you haven't read City of Bones?!" and my answer to that? No i have not, I bought the book from Powell's bookstore a couple months ago and just haven't gotten around to it. The main reason is because...its not in 1st person..i LOVE books that are written in first person and normally have a real hard time liking books that are not in first person ( I normally don't finish them actually D: ) although I do plan on giving this book a chance, and soon. I hear wonderful things about this book. I need to get in the loop!

Heavenly By: Jennifer Lauren

Description:
I met someone who changed everything. Matthias. My autistic sister's guardian angel. Honest. Inspiring. Funny. Hot. And immortal. That was the problem. What could I do? I did what any other girl would do-I fell in love with him. Zoe's sister darts in front of cars. Her brother's a pothead. Her parents are so overwhelmed; they don't see Zoe lost in her broken life. Zoe escapes the only way she knows how: partying. Matthias, a guardian sent from Heaven, watches over Zoe's autistic sister. After Zoe is convinced he's legit, angel and lost girl come together in a love that changes destiny. But Heaven on Earth can't last forever.
Why?, Thoughts, Notes: This book I do not own (yet) but it does sound very incredible. I originally heard about this book from Diana on her blog The Lovely Getaway http://thelovelygetaway.blogspot.com/ She posted a review and got me very excited to read this book, before her review i had never actually heard of the book... sooo thank you Diana!  (:

Hi. I'm a new follower. I, like you, prefer my books to be in first person (both as a reader and a writer). I just connect to them better. I feel like it's me in the story. That being said, Cassandra Clare's Mortal Instrument series is awesome! I loved it. I hope you will as well.
