So I have decided I'm going to post about every book that I start reading, just to see what you guys think of it, or if you've read it tell me what you thought of it (Without Spoilers!!) So here's what I started last night:
But the Thinkers are unusually persuasive, and they're set on convincing Vi to become one of them...starting by brainwashing Zenn. Vi can't leave Zenn in the Thinkers' hands, but she's wary of joining the rebellion, especially since that means teaming up with Jag. Jag is egotistical, charismatic, and dangerous--everything Zenn's not. Vi can't quite trust Jag and can't quite resist him, but she also can't give up on Zenn.
This is a game of control or be controlled. And Vi has no choice but to play.

Description:
Vi knows the Rule: Girls don't walk with boys, and they never even think about kissing them. But no one makes Vi want to break the Rules more than Zenn...and since the Thinkers have chosen him as Vi's future match, how much trouble can one kiss cause? The Thinkers may have brainwashed the rest of the population, but Vi is determined to think for herself. My Thoughts?
Ok so I am so excited to really get into this read, I mean so far I'm only on page 20..but it is so good already. I love Jag, I love Vi..so I think this is gonna be a good book, I normally don't like characters right off the bat, but this book already has amazing characters, thats gotta be a good sign right? Anyways, one cool thing I noticed about this book is that when Vi is talking about the Thinkers, she refers to them as 'Them' she always capitalizes 'Them' and 'Thinkers' which kinda makes me think of how when people talk about God they capitalize 'He' so idk I thought that was a nice touch in the book.
I have read a lot of reviews saying this book was 'just okay' I'm really hoping it ends up good, so far I love it..so I'm sure by the end of the book I'll still feel the same. I also noticed a lot of people saying it is confusing? Hmm I sure hope not..dystopia books are books that if you really don't pay attention..their gonna get confusing..so hopfeully if I just REALLY concentrate on the book..then it wont be confusing aha.
This book was a gift from my momma, so thank you momma Hagen! (:
Also can I just say in person this book has a BEAUTIFUL cover?! All the white part is sparkly in person..it's so pretty...almost distracting it's so pretty (;
Anyways what do you guys think of this book? And if you've read it, how did you like it? (:
