I am so jealouss, I need to get my hands on Sweet Venom right now. I'm buying it when I finish this comment. Also, I want literally all the other books you got this week :) Can't wait to read your reviewss!

Great IMM! And lol, I also think The Hunger Games is the new Twilight. It's getting crazy how much all the new YA books are getting compared to it. I haven't read it either and I own it too-- I should read it soon. Everneath & Glow sound so awesome. I hope you enjoy your new books!

Lol, I can't say I dislike Hunger Games, but I'm not a huge fan of them. I read the first two and I had to force myself through them, lol. The last 50% of book one was good, not great, book two felt slower and like a repetition of book one, but I still liked the last 20% and now I keep postponing reading the last book because they are sooo slooow and drawn-out they just frustrate me. Lol. I love the plot, but the way it's written... ugh. So there, you met the odd one who doesn't love them. ;)

Otherwise, great IMM! I can admit I'm jealous about Envy, Everneth and Sweet Venom! Definitely can't wait for my own copy of those.

OMG!!!!!! haha I didn't think I would actually get someone to comment this saying the weren't a huge fan! (: but nice to hear someone that doesn't completely drool over the book, idk why I keep putting it off, I just don't think it sounds that great, but everyone says its amazing so one of these days it will be picked up! haha (: I wanna try and at least read the first one before the movie comes out (:

I haven't read the Hunger Games either. I'm so glad I'm not the only one! I also looooved twilight. I don't care what anyone says, they were good! Haha. And yes, I've noticed that so many people compare books to a big franchise in hopes that the reference will get them further. Not a great sales move... If people LOVED the book you're comparing it to then they might find themselves disappointed by the book that says it's similar. If they didn't enjoy or even hated the franchise series then they may not both to pick it p at all.

Those are my thoughts! :-p

I think I'm the only person EVER to not love the Hunger Games. I didn't think the characters were well rounded and I didn't think the plot was very gripping or intricate! If you wanna read my short review on it then you can here.

I actually think it is going to be one of the very first situations where the movie could just top the book! For me anyway.

Really great books this week Haley! I'm looking forward to reading what you think about a few of them :)

I am sooooo jealous of everyone who got Everneath this week. It sounds so amazing and I don't want to wait until January for it. :( But I also can't wait to read all the reviews that will be coming now. I just hope it's as good as it sounds.

A lot of people also got Sweet Venom and Glow and both of them sound really good as well. Definitely need to get copies of these, too.

Enjoy your new books and have a lovely week,
Carina

I was wondering where your IMM was! lol Great selection this week, I have all 5 of those books on my TBR list. Lucky you! I've noticed that about 'the next Hunger Games' and it used to be 'the next Twilight'...I've also seen 'the next Harry Potter' but I always think 'pff, please, nothing will ever compare to Harry Potter!' I love Twilight too, but man, there's a lot of haters! lol The cover of Everneath is GORGEOUS, I love it. And btw...READ THE HUNGER GAMES!! It really is amazing as everyone says it is.

Here's my IMM if you wanna stop by for a visit :-)

Ha ha ha... I do like the Hunger Games, but you are absolutely right about it becoming the new "Twilight".

I am not a big fan of when books have "this book is just like ____" on the back- I am usually disappointed and don't agree. (Plus why would I want to read a book that is just like another book?)

And thanks for the shout out- I hope your shelves are lookin' pretty!

PS- Did you finish Tiger's Quest yet? ;)

Hi Haley!! I HATED the Hunger Games, especially the last one! Nothing against the author, she writes very well, but I didn't like the story. I didn't mind the first one, but I didn't love it, I hated the other two! And I LOVE the Twilight books(HATE the movies) also. I so wish she would finish Midnight Sun:{{
Another great Video!! Thanks!
