BLURB

Savannah Colbert has never known why she's so hated by the kids of the Clann. Nor can she deny her instinct to get close to Clann golden boy Tristan Coleman. Especially when she recovers from a strange illness and the attraction becomes nearly irresistible. It's as if he's a magnet, pulling her gaze, her thoughts, even her dreams. Her family has warned her to have nothing to do with him, or any members of the Clann. But when Tristan is suddenly everywhere she goes, Savannah fears she's destined to fail.

For years, Tristan has been forbidden to even speak to Savannah Colbert. Then Savannah disappears from school for a week and comes back…different, and suddenly he can't stay away. Boys seem intoxicated just from looking at her. His own family becomes stricter than ever. And Tristan has to fight his own urge to protect her, to be near her no matter the consequences….

REVIEW

I really don't know where to start with this book, it is one of those books I just really can't explain, and I don't know if it is a good thing or a bad thing...Crave by Melissa Darnell I read in one sitting, so that says I must have enjoyed it to want to keep reading, but at the same time I feel it was lacking a lot, and the romance was a little too unrealistic for me..

Crave follows Savannah who has just found out some shocking news about herself, she isn't human...not only that, but a guy she can't stop thinking about and she use to have chemistry with..won't even look at her and now that she knows what she is...she knows why he wont and why there love is forbidden..

Crave ALSO follows Tristen ..Tristen has been forbidden to speak to Savannah, his family and everyone in the 'clan' tells him she is bad news...but how could she be bad news when she is all he can ever think about?

As Tristen and Savannah finally start to get close and believe they can hide there love from everyone...there being watched...and what tests are coming for Savannah...may kill her and Tristen both.

So basically this book was good, I will deff read the second one. BUT the romance was at times too unrealistic, I feel Tristin and Savannahs feelings for each other were very unexplained in the beginning, Also Tristen is well...a stalker. He follows Savannah around school, and although I think I found it kinda sexy at times how he was so protective, it was still very creepy at other times. This book deff had a new twist on vampires/witches which was nice, and alot of Savannahs abilities were pretty cool. Sorry, but that is all I'm gonna say about this one, it is just one of those books you will just have too read it yourself to see how you feel about it.

I've so really different opinions on this one. But what comes up a lot is that it was pretty boring and lacked plot and well likable characters. I think I'll skip this one.

I have heard mixed reviews as well. But I'm going to check it out and see what it's like. Very honest review, thanks!

At a time when there are so many good romances out there, it's hard to read one that's unbelievable.

Great review...thanks for sharing.

I'm also cracking up because you have "Stalk Me" at the top of your page and then you said Tristan was a stalker:)

I've heard a lot of mixed reviews for this one, but I love the cover and I want to read it anyways!

I had a hard time reviewing this one too. Not only the romance stuff, but it felt so anti-climatic. But at the same time, I kind of liked it.

This was a DNF for me. I read all the way up until Tristan joined the dance team as a manager. I would have thrown it against the wall at that point if it wasn't an e-galley. How stupid. So I understand why you are conflicted. It was totally unrealistic.

Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment!

Haley, you always read the best indie books! you've really intrigued me with this one. I'm a sappy romantic so I'm hoping I will be able to over look the unrealistic romance... we'll see. I'll be back to share thoughts when I read it ;)

wait... take that back. I don't think CRAVE is an indie book.... is it?
