  • This week my Dusty Read is......Blood Red Road by Moira Young!!

Find Blood Red Road: Amazon . B&N . Amazon UK

Saba has spent her whole life in Silverlake, a dried-up wasteland ravaged by constant sandstorms. The Wrecker civilization has long been destroyed, leaving only landfills for Saba and her family to scavenge from. That's fine by her, as long as her beloved twin brother Lugh is around. But when a monster sandstorm arrives, along with four cloaked horsemen, Saba's world is shattered. Lugh is captured, and Saba embarks on an epic quest to get him back.

Suddenly thrown into the lawless, ugly reality of the world outside of desolate Silverlake, Saba is lost without Lugh to guide her. So perhaps the most surprising thing of all is what Saba learns about herself: she's a fierce fighter, an unbeatable survivor, and a cunning opponent. And she has the power to take down a corrupt society from the inside. Teamed up with a handsome daredevil named Jack and a gang of girl revolutionaries called the Free Hawks, Saba stages a showdown that will change the course of her own civilization.

Why have I not read this yet?!?!? ( because you're drowning in review books remember Haley! ) My boyfriend Ray bought this for me cause I was just just dying to have it, and there it is..sitting on my shelf gathering dust! I really need to read this one soon, I had read the first few chapters when I got it and I loved the beginning, the writing was awesome, the characters were great, and the whole situation their in is very interesting! I really hope I get to this one soon, it sounds so good!

OMG Blood Red Road is one of my dusty reads! Lol it's been sitting on my bookshelf for a long time now. The other one collecting dust, that I really want to start soon, is Delirium. I'm probably going to wait until Pandemonium comes out so I can read them back to back. :)

@Book Passion for Life the writing style is weird!! ha since she (the main girl) has lived out in the middle of no where, all of her and her family talk weird! I don't think it would be a book you would like as much Donna (:
