  • This week my Dusty Read is......Born at Midnight by C.C. Hunter!!

One night Kylie Galen finds herself at the wrong party, with the wrong people, and it changes her life forever.  Her mother ships her off to Shadow Falls—a camp for troubled teens, and within hours of arriving, it becomes painfully clear that her fellow campers aren’t just “troubled.”  Here at Shadow Falls, vampires, werewolves, shapshifters, witches and fairies train side by side—learning to harness their powers, control their magic and live in the normal world.
Kylie’s never felt normal, but surely she doesn’t belong here with a bunch of paranormal freaks either.  Or does she?  They insist Kylie is one of them, and that she was brought here for a reason.  As if life wasn’t complicated enough, enter Derek and Lucas.  Derek’s a half-fae who’s determined to be her boyfriend, and Lucas is a smokin’ hot werewolf with whom Kylie shares a secret past.  Both Derek and Lucas couldn’t be more different, but they both have a powerful hold on her heart.
Even though Kylie feels deeply uncertain about everything, one thing is becoming painfully clear—Shadow Falls is exactly where she belongs…

This book sounds so good!! I have had it for some time and can’t believe I haven’t read it yet, it sounds right up my alley! Also can I add how much I love this series covers?? They are so beautiful, and they match each other so well! If you have read Born at Midnight tell me how it was and if I need to read it sooner!! (:

What's getting dusty on your shelf? (:

You should definitly read it soon :) I liked it :)
My dusty read must be Divergent by Veronica Roth or Across the Universe by Beth Ravis.. Which are both books I both in 2011, but never got to.. Even though I have been super excited about reading them :/

This book is on my list for the TBR pile challenge. I bought both this book and Awake at Dawn last year and haven't read them yet. I don't do Dusty Reads, but here's my Teaser Tuesday

This is definitely a book you should read. I absolutely fell in love. It's a huge mystery type because of Kylie and how everyone wants to know who she is. You get a major variety of paranormals. Both of Kylie's friends at camp are super funny, especially when they argue. Oh and you get two very hot guys to swoon over. I'm not going to say what's getting dusty on my shelf because it's more than I like to admit. Hopefully soon I can make a dent in my pile lol.

You should read this book. It was AMAZING in my opinion. I should post a review of it, and maybe it'll make you want to read it.

I finally got aroud to reading this book last year and whilst I did enjoy it I havn't made any attempt to get the follow up books in the series so I wouldn't say its a favourite of mine. I do think you would love it though as I know you love all different types of paranormal!
