Hello book lovers...now that we are officially in 2012 I guess it is time I tell you my top 12 favorite books I read in 2011! This was insanely hard, there were so many other books I wanted to include in this list, but at the end of the day I had to pick these 12. I am also hosting a giveaway with this post! (:
1.The Iron Fey Series by Julie Kagawa: when it came to my favorite read this past year, I didn't have to think about it for more then a second. The Iron Fey Series I loved beyond words, I could go on and on for days to anyone about what a mesmerizing series this is.
2. The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare: This series I know a lot of you have read, and I think a lot of us can agree that the story Cassandra has written is just flat out epic!
3. Half Blood by Jennifer L Armentrout: Ah this book I have a feeling will be my favorite series next year when it gets to my top 2012 books, but since I have only read the first book I have put it has third, but believe me when I say this book is amazing, it is breath breathtakingly beautiful, everyone should read this! :)
4.The Deepest Cut by JA Templeton: The Deepest Cut was literally a scary read!!!!! The stroy was so addictive right from the first page, I think anyone looking for a different type of YA should pick this up it had an amazing romance..and the ending will leave you begging for the next book! (like I am!)
5.Untraceable by SR Johannes: omg, I loved this book! If there was a top "books I connected with the most" list Untraceable would be number one! This book was flat out incredible!
6.The Fire Wars by Kailin Gow: Ahh The Fire Wars, this novels romance was astounding, I for one am huge on romance in books, and Kailin delivered one of the most enjoyable romances ever in The Fire Wars, it also has one of the best love triangles I have ever read! Simply amazing! (:
7. Unlovable by Sherry Gammon: Sherry is an amazing writer! This book has an insane amount of suspense and romance all wrapped in one breath taking book! I flippin loved Unlovable!
8.Captivated by Deb Apodaca: Captivated was an amazing vampire novel! I am not a big one for vampire books, but Captivated literally captivated me from the first page (;
9.Paradise Series by Simone Elkeles: oh my goodness, this series is amazing! It was simply beautiful, anyone that is looking for a good alternating POV books this series is the best you will find! I loved every page! (:
10.Firelight Series by Sophie Jordan: Ah I LOVE this series, the first novel Firelight was amazing, but the second book Vanish....perfect! I cannot wait to get my hands on book 3!
11.Forbidden by Megan Curd: ahh this book is on angels...and in all honesty books on angels are my least favorite, but Forbidden....this book is a masterpiece! This book is from a guys POV too and it was still amazing! Megan Curd is an amazing writer!
12. Carrier of the Mark by Leigh Fallon: I loved this novel! I normally don't like books that have a very magically romance cause to me they seem way too cheesy, but Leigh was able to write an amazing romance that was magical AND realistic, I adored it!
To start off the new year I am going to be giving away ONE of my favorite books of 2011 to TWO people! Check out the details below then fill out the form! (:
