Going too far by Jennifer Echols
Read: Over a year ago! Back in April of 2011 (:

HOW FAR WOULD YOU GO?
All Meg has ever wanted is to get away. Away from high
school. Away from her backwater town. Away from her parents who seem determined
to keep her imprisoned in their dead-end lives. But one crazy evening involving
a dare and forbidden railroad tracks, she goes way too far...and almost doesn't
make it back.
John made a choice to stay. To enforce the rules. To serve
and protect. He has nothing but contempt for what he sees as childish
rebellion, and he wants to teach Meg a lesson she won't soon forget. But Meg
pushes him to the limit by questioning everything he learned at the police
academy. And when he pushes back, demanding to know why she won't be tied down,
they will drive each other to the edge -- and over....
Ahh this was my first Jennifer Echols read and WOW did I love it!!!! I am normally not a huge fan of contemporary novels, but this one just blew me out of the park. I couldn't put it down for the life of me! (: Reading this book really opened up my love for a good contemporary novel. I loved the characters, I loved the tension, I just loved this whole book!

One of my favorite books of all time! I wiggled in my seat while I reading it and kept saying things like, "Aw... Ah! ...Ah, it's so good! What...? So good! Oh my go... SO good!" Great book.
I've heard soooo many amazing things about Jennifer Echols books but haven't read any yet (so ashamed). But this one sounds great and I can't wait to pick it up after hearing you talk about how much you loved it :)
I really need to read more of Jennifer Echols books!! The only one I've read is "The Boy Next Door"!! :) Thanks Haley!
I really loved this book! Jennifer Echols is such a great author! :)
I can't wait to read this now. Great post! Here is the link to mine: http://writtenbybrittan.blogspot.com/2012/06/still-on-my-mind-1.html
I still need to read this one!
I discovered your blog through another blogger's Follow Friday post and I just have to say that you are some kind of fantastic for featuring this book.
This was my third Jennifer Echols novel and one of hundred and something that I kept when I had to get rid of books to redo my room. This is actually my second favorite book by her. My favorite is Major Crush.
This book was fantastic and the characters just kind of stay with you in this haunting way. I really hope you read more of her.
Oh and New Follower. Also I think I'm going to participate in "Still on my Mind."
Rebecca of Vicariously!
I LOOOOOOVED Going Too Far. :) I just convinced my sister to read it and she loved it. :) She's normally not a huge YA fan, she like Nicholas Sparks, Nora Roberts, and other adult novelists but I got her back into reading YA with this one. :) Contemporary YA is a nice bridge between adult and YA.
Dude! Totally agree! LOVED Going Too Far!!!!
This is my first still on my mind please do check it out! :)

I'm glad to hear that this was so good that it's "Still on Your Mind"! I haven't read any of Jennifer Echols' books, because I usually lean towards more of the adventurous novels. I hope to read some of her novels soon!
