Welcome Sherry and Tyler! Thank you both so much for joining me today on my blog!

How is it writing as an author duo, compared to writing on your own? Would you say it's easier, harder?

Sherry: In a lot of ways, it’s much easier. Sort of like having a built in critique group you never have to explain anything to. The really tricky thing for us is just scheduling. We do a lot of lunches and emailing.

Tyler: I have really enjoyed writing together. Writing on your own you always have questions if something is good enough, but with Sherry I can just send her an email of the work we are doing and I get a critique phone call that day. Challenges are trying to balance family life and meeting for brainstorming sessions.

What can readers expect from your upcoming novel Extracted?

Sherry: Adventure, fun, a little romance. My favorite thing about it is, you basically give this group of rowdy, unpredictable kids this god-like power and then set them loose. It’s wonderful and terrible at the same time.
Tyler: Hang on to your hats and glasses folks you are getting ready to ride the wildest Steampunk train rides this side of the Mississippi.

Do you each have a favorite quote from Extracted? If so what is it?

Sherry: There’s this great scene with Lex and Stein where they are sparring and he tells her “I like it when you win”. The girly girl in me loves that line.
Tyler: “OH YES…THE LEG…tick, tick, tick…LET’S TALK ABOUT THE LEG. HOW DID YOUR LEG BECOME…tick, tick, tick, DETATCHED FROM YOUR BODY. -Claymore

How would you each describe your main characters, Lex and Ember?

Sherry: Ember is very vulnerable. She’s searching for who she was, kind of always looking back. And though she has this amazing gift and she’s really strong, I think she always feels like the cost for it was just too high. At her core, I think she just wants to be normal.
Tyler: Ember is sensitive but very tough. Lex is a rowdy, cocky, teen boy who has a hard time taking NO for an answer. Failure doesn’t exist in his vocabulary. There is always a solution in his world.

You can each have dinner with ONE of your characters, who do you choose and why?

Sherry: That’s really hard. I’m going to say Ethan. I have a major girl crush on Ethan.
Tyler: I think it would be Stewart Stills. He is an all knowing, mysterious man. I have a lot of questions for him about the Time Stream.

As it gets closer to the release date of Extracted what are you most looking forward to?

Sherry: I just can’t wait to be able to talk about it with people. I’ll crack a joke on the Facebook page and…crickets, because no one gets it yet. I’m like, this joke is going to be a lot funnier after you read the book!

Tyler: It is always interesting how people read into your writing. I like to have discussions about how readers interpret a certain scene when I really didn’t even mean to write it that way.

Welcome to the war.

The Tesla Institute is a premier academy that trains young time travelers called Rifters. Created by Nicola Tesla, the Institute seeks special individuals who can help preserve the time stream against those who try to alter it.

The Hollows is a rogue band of Rifters who tear through time with little care for the consequences. Armed with their own group of lost teens--their only desire to find Tesla and put an end to his corruption of the time stream.

Torn between them are Lex and Ember, two Rifters with no memories of their life before joining the time war.

When Lex’s girlfriend dies during a mission, the only way he can save her is to retrieve the Dox, a piece of tech which allows Rifters to re-enter their own timeline without collapsing the time stream. But the Dox is hidden deep within the Telsa Institute, which means Lex must go into the enemy camp. It’s there he meets Ember, and the past that was stolen from them both comes flooding back.

Now armed with the truth of who they are, Lex and Ember must work together to save the future before the battle for time destroys them both…again.

These watches draw their power not from breitling replica size or complications, but from the innumerable subtleties of the bracelet, bezel, and case. A 14790 mid-size rado replica uk harnesses all three to great effect. AP aficionados looking for an authentic Royal Oak experience need look no farther. The dial of the Royal Oak 14790 captures the same essential aesthetic of its fake hublot 39mm counterpart. With a waffle-like “tapisserie” pattern cut on a pantograph apparatus at traditional supplier Stern Creations omega replica (yes, those Sterns), the 14790 features the same visual signature and craft content of the famed “Jumbo.” Regarding size, neither the original 39mm nor the 36mm 14790 are in step with the high end of modern rolex replica proportions. But the 14790 shares its larger predecessor’s habit of wearing larger than its nominal hublot replica measurements.
