I have been a terrible blogger this year...I might as well get that 'confession' out of the way. I have been so inconsistent this past year with my blog, and while I do have some reasons as to why, I think ultimately it just came down to me not caring as much about my blog. This past year instead of my blog being something I enjoyed, it felt more like a chore. But it's a new year, and I have really missed my blog and the blogging community and I am ready to jump back into the swing of regularly blogging, visiting other blogs, reading, etc.
SO with that said, here are some of my blogging goals for 2014, I figured I should post them up so then if I am falling behind you guys can scold me for it, sounds good? Okay lets get started!
So those are my blogging goals, I don't think there too unrealistic. The main one I think I may have problems with is writing a review for every book I read...which is why I put TRY on that goal lol! Anyways those are my goals, hopefully they go well! (: Wish me luck!

Yay, *Jumps for joy*. I know what you mean by feeling your blog turning into a chore, that's why i'm taking a month off. I definitely feel the need to read and review more of the books I read this year too, I want my blog to be focused on the reviews instead of all the other "supporting" posts.
Cannot wait to read more of your reviews and see where YA-Aholic goes, i've followed you for more than 2 years so i'm uber excited for you Haley!
I'm so glad you are feeling ready to come back to blogging more often, I am looking forward to reading all your new reviews and seeing what you are reading, I have never blogged but follow a fair few book blogs and the blogging slump seems to happen to everybody.
I hope you get back to enjoying blogging. I don't write a review for every book I read either... I let myself "cheat" sometimes, and just read a book for the sake of reading it. It's kind of nice. :) Good luck with your goals!

I get what you mean by reviewing every book you read. I only reviewed about half the books i read last year, and its not fair to the ones that deserve the love that they don't get any. Great post! Good luck in the new year!

These are my goals too!! & Redesign my blog sometime in the next few weeks for the year. I have to do more reviews (& posts in general actually). Good to know I'm not the only one trying to get out of a blogging slump. I haven't posted in a couple months :( & I haven't reviewed anything in ages, I haven't felt motivated enough to do it.
Wonderful goals Haley! Mine pretty much mirror yours :-) blogging really weighed me down last year, I wasn't enjoying it as much so there will be a few changes this year with the focus being on enjoying it all again.

All of your goals are pretty the same or similar to mine, as well. I've been wanting to get to know more of my fellow book blogger friends as well, so I'm definitely going to resolve to be commenting more here and there over the year. :)

Best of luck Haley! I try and review most of the books I read so that it's not a huge gap between book reviews sometimes. LOL My big goal this year is to try and schedule things in advance. I did pretty well last year with that, but sometimes I got behind!

If I had to write a list of resolutions for 2014, I think the would be almost exactly like yours. I've spent the last few months debating on whether or not I even wanted to continue with my blog because I just felt so much pressure to say yes to everything and was feeling so overwhelmed, but I have vowed to not take on so much this year and focus on reading and reviewing and getting back to enjoying things!!
