Hey book lovers, welcome to my about me section! *throws confetti*
The basics: My name is Haley Elise, I am 24, turning 25 on March 18th, which makes me a Pisces. I was born and currently live in the beautiful Pacific North West in the city of Portland Oregon, the city of Roses.
I don't think of myself as someone all that interesting, like lots of girls I like to waste hours scrolling through pinterest, pinning things I'll probably never do. My parents will always my biggest heros. I'm in two relationships, one with my fiance Chris, and the other with coffee. I live for the moments that I can make a cheesy pun, puns are my favorite. I'm that crazy girl that reads way too much into horoscopes. I have an adorable godson named Kingston, and a pretty cute furbaby named Tink. I have an insane amount of love for basketball and my local team the Portland Trail Blazers, I also love routing for my Seattle Seahawks when watching American football. I love playing video games, dragon age and mass effect series being my favorite. I'm happily in love with my hunky and insanely sweet fiance Chris who I cannot wait to marry September 2017, I'm surrounded by amazing people who fill my life with so much love and joy. I couldn't be happier.

YA-Aholic I originally started because I needed an outlet for my love and thoughts of books since I had no friends that read. When I started YA-Aholic I had no idea it would become what it has, I didn't know what arcs were, I didn't know authors would be asking me to review their books, I didn't know I'd have contacts with publishers, or that it would lead to me having my own weekly column in a published newspaper. All I knew was that I loved reading, and that I wanted to pour my energy into this little corner of the internet I have claimed as mine. Although I did not know YA-Aholic would come this far, I am so glad it did, I have met some amazing people because of this blog, and I wouldn't trade that for anything.
The name for YA-Aholic came from my love of reading YA novels, even though YA-Aholic is no longer just for YA books, YA books still stays the main focus.
rest in peace Zeb </3 my favorite reading buddy
