Hey book lovers, welcome to my about section! *throws confetti*

The name is Haley, I am 26 years old, I live in a small town with my boyfriend; our dog Boo and our cat Kitty. I was born on March 18th in the AM, which makes me a pisces on aries cusp and my moon in virgo. I read way too much into horoscopes. I have awesome parents, and an adorable godson named Kingston. Things I adore besides reading would include spending hours and hours playing video games specifically any bioware games (Dragon Age series & Mass Effect series) and playing PUBG with my boyfriend and our friends, collecting crystals and going to the beach. I like spending my time also watching basketball and american football, making cheesy puns, and spending hours pinning stuff on pinterest I'll probably never do. I could make this about me a novel, but at the end of the day I'm just a girl with her nose in a book, escaping to different worlds and universes, and trying to live a happy life like everybody else. 💖

YA-Aholic was originally started because I needed an outlet for my love of books, a place I could post my opinions and rants on all things books since I at the time had no friends that shared my love of books. When I started YA-Aholic I had no idea it would become what it has, I didn't know what ARCS were, I didn't know authors would be asking me to interview them, I didn't know I'd have contacts with publisher companies, or that it would lead to me having my own weekly column in a newspaper. All I knew was that I loved reading, and that I wanted to pour my energy into this little corner of the internet I claimed as mine. What started as just a little hobby, has turned into so much and has lead me to some great opportunities and even more amazing friendships.
The name for YA-Aholic came from my love of reading YA (young adult, such as hunger games for a popular example) novels, even though YA-Aholic is no longer just for YA books, YA books still stay the main focus.
